POSITION OVERVIEW:
To prevent consumer harm, WMC Global specializes in identifying the sources and methods of digital threats, shutting down related in-market threat delivery mechanisms, and creating barriers to threat propagation. Our team is leading the charge in mobile threat intelligence and bringing its expertise in wireless communications and detection, processes, and investigative techniques on digital threats to protect consumers. You’ll become part of this passionate team that leads the industry in mobile messaging compliance, phishing detection, phishing incident response, and threat and spam mitigation.
The Contract Manager (CM) will play an integral role in WMC Global’s business development, compliance, and finance functions. They will manage the full client contract life cycle for our domestic and international clients. The CM will work closely with the SVP, Finance & Administration and the SVP, Strategy & Global Operations to ensure accurate, compliant, and favorable contract terms. They will support Customer Success with any renewal processes and contract reviews.

Represent WMC Global in contract negotiations and discussions
This position is fully remote, based in the United States.
This is a full-time, exempt position.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Contract Management & Administration:
Draft and review technology-specific contracts, including software licenses, service agreements, technology partnerships, and vendor contracts
Collaborate with stakeholders, including outside counsel, finance, customer success, and business development teams, to negotiate favorable contract terms with procurement
Manage the entire contract lifecycle, from creation to execution and renewal in partnership with Business Development and Customer Success
Establish and maintain an organized contract repository, ensuring easy access to key contract information
Identify and research systems for automation and efficiency of standardizing the contract lifecycle
Compliance and Risk Mitigation:
Ensure all contracts comply with industry regulations, company policies, legal requirements, and best practices
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate legal and business risks associated with contracts
Partner with Internal Controls to ensure corporate compliance and to minimize liability
Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with contract terms
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Work closely with technology, product, and business development teams to understand their contract needs and provide appropriate advice
Facilitate effective communication between outside counsel and other departments
Vendor Management:
Collaborate with client procurement and vendor management teams to manage contracts with technology vendors
Partner with Internal Controls and other appropriate stakeholders to complete required due diligence assessments as part of vendor procurement processes
JOB COMPENTENCIES/SKILL REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
5-10 years of experience in contract management, with a focus on technology contracts
Proven track record of successfully negotiating and managing contracts with scope sensitive to cybersecurity, data privacy, and data ownership requirements
Experience with US and UK contract law a plus
Ability to translate corporate strategy into contractual agreements
Demonstrated business, financial, and technical acumen
Experience managing multiple stakeholder groups to move projects forward
Commercially minded, with superior negotiation skills
In-depth understanding of technology contracts, intellectual property, and licensing
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced technology environment
Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate independently in a structured, concise format
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Sustained demonstration of integrity and discretion in handling confidential or sensitive information
Adherence to and respect for WMC Global’s values, which form the bedrock of all our business dealings
EDUCATION/TRAINING:
Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, or a related field is required
Advanced degree (JD, MBA) is preferred
Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM), Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM), License to Practice Law, Paralegal Certificate or equivalent certification is highly desirable
Technology-specific certifications or memberships in relevant professional organizations are a plus
