Department Overview
Position Summary
Manages contracts with various partners and entities. Collaborates withkey stakeholders to ensure timely deployment of projects and facilitatethe resolution of engineering, operating, planning and policy issuesrelating to projects. Develops and maintains documentation for policiesand procedures; ensures effective and sustainable controls are in placeto meet compliance requirement. Acts as subject matter expert on theassigned contracts and coordinates legal and regulatory contract andreporting issues.
Job Responsibilities

Coaches and develops team members.

Creates new and innovative approaches, tools and tactics to solve complex problems.

Handles special research projects for the section.

Leads complex technical and operational contract related processes.

Leads large and complex cross- functional projects or process improvement initiatives

Manages accounting, financial and cash flow or policy and contract development processes.

Manages the process to ensure compliance with contract and tariff requirements.

May act as an expert witness.

May handle at least one of the most complex Agreements or Contracts.

Negotiates major policy issues independently.

Provides direction and strategy recommendations on contractual matters.

Provides strategic as well as technical direction to all team members.

Provides timely information that employees need to do their jobs.

Represents PG&E in external forums.

Trains team members on policy and complex contract issues.

Qualifications
Minimum:

Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or job-related discipline or equivalent experience

Job-related experience, 6 years

Desired:

Masters Degree in job-related discipline or equivalent experience
