General Summary: A Continuous Improvement Manager's primary responsibility will be to streamline and enhance operational processes to drive efficiency and productivity. You will work closely with various teams within the organization, including warehouse management, IT, and security, to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.
Essential Job Functions:
Conducting regular assessments of existing processes and identifying areas for improvement.
Developing and implementing strategies to optimize warehouse management systems to enhance inventory control, order fulfillment, and delivery processes.
Collaborating with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of Microsoft NAV ERP , HighJump (Korber) system and other relevant software applications.
Analyzing data and generating reports to monitor operational performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Implementing security systems and protocols to protect property, prevent theft, and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Leading cross-functional teams to drive Continuous Improvement initiatives, such as lean manufacturing or Six Sigma projects.
Providing training and guidance to employees on new processes and systems to ensure smooth adoption and compliance.
Monitoring industry trends and best practices to stay updated with the latest advancements in warehouse management, automation, and security systems.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of warehouse and transportation technologies (POD, WMS, Routing, Security)
Knowledge of warehouse and transportation hardware technology (Rf Scanners, Honeywell, Vocollect units)
Preferred working knowledge of HighJump/Korber warehouse management software or similar tier 1 WMS
Qualified in lean and six sigma management.
Report development and data analysis
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, management preferred or equivalent work experience.
Five years of experience in warehouse management, technology, distribution, or similar field
Technical expertise
Process analysis, problem solving, system analysis.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
