Job Summary:
MAPMG is seeking a temporary Continuing Medical Education (CME) Coordinator. This temporary position will provide day-to-day program and administrative support to the Senior Program Manager, CME (SPM-CME) within the Medical Education Department. The position includes being responsible for coordinating specific components of the MAPMG CME program to support the program's mission as an accredited provider to deliver high quality, evidence-based education that is designed to change physician competence, performance, and/or patient outcomes, to our 1800+ physicians in the Mid-Atlantic region. Position responsibilities would include collecting, reviewing, editing, documenting, and organizing activity information, communicating directly with planners to coordinate Regularly Scheduled Series (RSS) activities, creating and setting up CME evaluations and follow up surveys in Storyline and the Learning Management System (LMS) and generating various reports for SPM-CME review.
Qualified candidates must have excellent communication skills, be able to work both independently and as part of a team to manage assigned activities, tasks, and be accountable for ensuring required deadlines and deliverables are met.
This is a temporary position that will be ending on August 18, 2024, and is benefits-ineligible.
This position offers a hybrid work arrangement with the expectation to come into the office on an as-needed basis. This position will be based in Rockville, MD. Applicants must be local or willing to relocate to the Washington D.C., Maryland, or Virginia area.
Responsibilities:
  • Support the Senior Program Manager, CME (SPM-CME) in the administration of regularly scheduled series (RSS) activities by directly communicating with the activity planners, collecting CME disclosures as needed through Docusign, and enrolling attendees in CME evaluations in the LMS (Sumtotal/Cornerstone)
  • Create all CME evaluations and post activity follow up surveys using Articulate Storyline, and upload, set up and test in the LMS
  • Close CME evaluations and post activity surveys for all CME activities, input applicable activity level data into program tracking spreadsheets and generate attendance and learner summary reports for the SPM-CME
  • Compile American Board of Surgery (ABS) credit claims and submit them monthly to the SPM-CME for board reporting
  • Create and send CME announcement emails targeting various audiences (Non-Clinical Staff, Active Physicians, Retired Physicians) for live webinar and enduring CME activities, once reviewed and approved by the SPM-CME
  • Support the SPM-CME and the LMS Administrator in testing CME enduring material courses as needed prior to course launch in the LMS
  • Update the CME website, including but not limited to posting webinar recordings, schedule, licensure, and course updates
  • Support the SPM-CME and the LMS Administrator in all CME related activities in the LMS, including banner creation and removal for course promotion, module creation, learner enrollment, basic learner support and troubleshooting issues (ie: certificate/transcript requests), medical licensure category updates
  • Support the Senior Program Manager, CME (SPM-CME) in the administration of the MAPMG Retired Physicians Association (MRPA) and Emeritus groups including membership status tracking, account creation in the LMS, member support, communication, and membership renewal reminders as needed
  • Learn Teams Live webinar production to provide back-up webinar production support as needed

Qualifications:
  • Proficiency with all MS Office Suite applications, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, and other web-based applications
  • Ability to manage/manipulate large amounts of data such as, pivot tables, macros, formulas is required
  • Excellent customer service and oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate well with external partners
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills; attention to detail and dependability a must
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous LMS administration experience
  • Previous experience supporting a CME/CE accredited program
  • Experience with Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Premier Rush, DocuSign, Articulate Storyline, and webpage updates using HTML preferred but not required.
