1SEO Digital Agency has an immediate opening for a full-time Content Writer to add to its successful and expanding team. Interested individuals must be willing to do in-depth research and go above and beyond to learn how to write blogs, articles, press releases, and website content about various subjects for small, medium, and Fortune 500 companies.
Responsibilities:
- Researching, writing and editing blogs, press releases, website content, call-to-action statements and headlines with optimization, for a wide variety of clients within a deadline. This includes writing press releases geared to the local, national and industry press, and research-based articles and blogs on web practices, SEO, SEM and other topics as assigned.
- Interacting with clients through email or phone on a daily, weekly or monthly basis.
- Creating web-ready content for multiple types of businesses.
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and news to create strong content, as well as to expand knowledge in regard to content writing and social media.
- Willing to learn how to use WordPress, PRWeb, Joomla or any other programs to publish content on the internet.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Knowledge or understanding of internet marketing, search engine optimization (SEO) and social media optimization (SMO) is a plus.
- Must know how to use Microsoft Word.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to edit a range of documents, correcting any grammatical, typographical, or compositional errors for his or her own writing.
- Expertise in taking and incorporating feedback into work; must be able to consider constructive criticism from peers and/or clients.
- Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Must have the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously with a sense of urgency, in addition to the ability to work well in a collegial, team atmosphere.
- Ability to quickly adjust priorities to respond to pressing demands.
- If not already certified, must also be willing to become Google AdWords certified and Google Analytics certified.
