Content Writer

Position: SEO Content Writer (Part-Time)

Company: The Stay At Home Chef

Hours: Part-time (15 to 25 hours a week).

Pay: 20$ - 30$ an hour DOE

Location: Hybrid. Minimum of 10 hours a week in pleasant grove office. The remaining hours can be spent working at home.

As our community grows, we're seeking a part-time Content Writer to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring our website continues to offer fresh, engaging, and valuable content to our readers.

Role Overview:

As a Content Writer, you will work with our recipe developer to write, edit, and update blog posts on our site. Your main goal is to produce high-quality content that resonates with our audience and Google. Additionally, you will manage our comments on our site by following our guides and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with recipe designers to write and publish new blog posts that align with our content strategy and brand voice.
• Update and refresh existing blog posts to maintain accuracy, relevancy, and voice.
• Ensure all content is SEO and User Intent Optimized to maximize visibility on search engines.
• Manage comments on site.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

• Number of new blog posts written and published.
• Number of blog post updated.
• Number of comments managed
• Performance metrics of updates and new posts, including changes in traffic and search engine rankings.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in content editing, writing, seo, or a related field.
• Strong writing and editing skills, with an ability to adapt to the site’s tone and style.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and how to apply them to content creation.
• Passion for cooking and creating engaging food content is a plus.
