Content Writer

The Content Writer will work within our creative team to write compelling copy, high-quality website content, SEO-optimized content, and content marketing pieces, both short- and long-form (blog posts, white papers, ebooks, product guides, email campaigns, etc.) in line with current best practices. The Content Writer is "the voice" of our clients, so the ability to produce quality content while matching a variety of tones and styles is essential. Looking for a reliable writer who can produce high-quality, human-created content at scale.

NOTE: The hiring process will involve a paid writing test. We are looking for human-created, not AI-generated content.

Salary is $40,000-$45,000

In-office position in Utah with remote work capability from the following states: Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Michigan, New Hampshire, Texas, Utah, Vermont, and Washington.

Responsibilities:

• Research and write blog posts, product pages, case studies, white papers, and more
• Thoroughly research topics to enhance and substantiate content
• Use SEO best practices in writing
• Provide feedback on content produced by other members of the team
• Work closely with teams to receive feedback and modify content as necessary

Education:

• Bachelor's degree (in Marketing, English, Creative Writing, or similar major preferred)

• Demonstrated writing experience - professional and/or academic (preferably web content)
• Impeccable spelling and grammar
• Great research, organizational, and learning skills
• Ability to research, understand, and write competently about a wide variety of topics, including technical industries
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and adhere to deadlines
• Can produce first drafts quickly
• Marketing knowledge and experience
• Ability to put yourself in the consumers' shoes and understand what they want to see, hear, and feel
• Not afraid to take direction
• Adept at working within a team environment and is equally comfortable working independently
• Passion for writing strategic copy and creative content for multiple audiences in a fast-paced and evolving industry
• Quick learner
• High level of enthusiasm
• Proven problem solver that takes initiative
• Result-oriented with a strong work ethic
• Working knowledge of and prior SEO experience is helpful, but not required
• Experience writing for a web-based audience is highly encouraged
• Agency experience is a plus
