WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING: Using strong writing, communication, creative-thinking, and problem-solving skills, you will be organizing material and completing writing assignments according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style and terminology.
As a Content Writer, you will maintain impeccable records and files of work and revisions. You’ll review past work, collaborate with others, and will conduct research (as necessary) to formulate ideas or support your writing. Most importantly, you’ll confer with clients to establish technical specifications and to determine subject material to be developed for publication.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders of various seniority levels on high priority initiatives
- Coordinate across key internal stakeholders to ensure they are laddering up to organizational-wide initiatives.
- Drive partnership with secondary business partners to ensure alignment and coordination across collaborative workstreams.
- Provide strategic communications and speech writing direction on executive-level social, media and speaker opportunities
- Strong focus on learning about your target audience [including highly technical audiences] to inform writing
- Ensure clarity and consistency in all materials
- Maintain project documentation and course folders
- Escalate issues effectively and with discretion
YOU’LL LOVE WORKING WITH US IF YOU HAVE:
- 10-years relevant work experience in creating documentation
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Previous large enterprise work experience (i.e. Microsoft)
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills
- Ability to read some programming code
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Solid past consulting experience
- Careful attention to tone and presence, and confidence to work with senior level leaders
- Ability to think creatively and be innovative
- Proven track record of being both strategic and detail focused
- Can work in ambiguity
- A client-first attitude
- Be a trusted team member
- Strong efficiency in MSFT Office products including PowerPoint & SharePoint
DETAILS: Virtual / Remote. W-2, temporary, hourly position (with possibility of extension.) Ability to work in Pacific Time Zone. Oxygen Experience will offer the successful candidate a competitive base compensation and benefits package. The targeted range for this role is $30-$60, hourly. For full-time positions lasting 6 months+, benefits offerings include 100% paid for medical, dental and vision coverage and generous coverage for dependents. Oxygen Experience also offers a 401(k)-retirement savings plan, Flexible Spending Account, and a generous paid time-off (vacation, sick, holidays) program. For positions lasting less than 6 months, Oxygen Experience offers accrued paid time off, paid holidays, and a 401(k)-retirement savings plan after 1,000 hours worked.
