Content Creator

EverLights is looking for an enthusiastic, talented, and driven Content Creator to join our team in gathering, producing, and delivering a wide variety of content - both video and photography. From customer testimonials, to shooting on-the-job training, and of course capturing our lights on residential and commercial buildings with video and photography!

We share our trademarked permanent holiday lights with new customers using our unique, original content, and different models of storytelling. The ideal candidate will have experience across the entire creative process from concepting, pre-production, production, and post. Innovation, positivity, creativity, energy, and problem solving is at the core of our culture. We are looking for a self-driven individual who can catch the vision and elevate our current presence across all channels.

Here’s what a typical week in this role would look like:

• You’re in the office 2-3 days a week standard hours, offsite shooting content the remainder of the week for evening shoots as needed
• Begin the week in-office, brainstorming and prioritizing new content for lead generation campaigns across a variety of paid channels
• Setting up and executing a video/photo shoot at a residence or business capturing content in our key time golden and blue hours, on location
• Editing the content for review by the following week
• Shooting content for lead generation campaigns, on location
• Sharing final edits on previous weeks’ photo and video shoots
• Meeting with team members to track progress, understand key product features and benefits, improve content performance
• Using Slack, Monday, and Google Drive to post content, update on progress, and communicate with team members

Responsibilities:

• Research, pitch, write, capture, and edit your content to create quality visuals and compelling assets
• Follow deadlines while maintaining creativity
• Generate original story ideas and develop fresh angles and perspectives for content.
• Identify long and short-term story ideas.
• Uphold brand tone and voice throughout all content
• Research, set up and conduct interviews with customers.
• Understand trends and find unique ways to keep our brand relevant.
• Apply insights from content performance to inform on future content types and topics.
• Test new content strategies to continually improve performance.
• Partner with internal and external teams to develop paid campaign initiatives

Qualifications:

• 5-10 Years Experience Shooting and Editing Various Styles of Content
• Proficiency in Adobe Suite for Editing
• 1 Year TikTok Video Creation Experience
• Ability to work using variety of software programs like Slack, Monday, and Google Drive
• Experience shooting with drones a plus
• Excellent Time Management Skills
• Strong Organization and Planning Skills
• No Fear of Heights/ Ladders
• Travel up to 20% (mostly local, some out of state)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
