Job description

This position is responsible for supporting the production and delivery of media content across all PGA TOUR platforms as a member of the Digital Content Team, working closely within and across teams to produce and share timely, innovative and compelling content to support the TOUR's storytelling and Branded Content initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree in Television/Film Production, Broadcast Journalism, Communications and/or related area of study
  • Minimum two years of experience in production and/or related field. Basic understanding of field production styles and techniques, shooting and editing is preferred
  • Strong understanding of the current digital and social media landscape
  • Familiarity with the following production systems and/or technical equipment is a benefit: DSLR cameras, nonlinear video editing (Adobe Premiere) and motion graphics (Adobe Photoshop, After Effects).
  • Knowledge of the game of golf is preferred
  • Solid communication skills needed to work with a variety of teams. Computer skills required (Microsoft Word, Excel and/or comparable programs)
  • Must be able to work a flexible work schedule which may include evenings, weekends and holidays

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
  • Find and prepare footage, music and graphics for upcoming edit sessions
  • Write video titles and descriptions, upload and publish to PGATOUR.COM and web platforms
  • Organize and maintain the team's edit and publishing schedules, guiding projects through the post-production process from concept to completion
  • Assist team leads during all phases of production as required, including miscellaneous administrative duties, transcribing videos, music reports, etc.
  • Quality control of all projects delivered to PGATOUR.COM, social media platforms
  • Support edit staff with archiving all produced video into the Viz One MAM system
  • Actively contribute ideas in all creative meetings
  • Adhere to PGA TOUR brand standards, strategic initiatives and established voice across platforms
  • Special projects and other duties as assigned
