Contemporary Worship Leader Music/Instrumental
Great Bridge Presbyterian Church (GBPC) is seeking a part-time (20 hrs/week) Contemporary Worship leader with a passion for Christ, a love for people, and a heart for praise and worship. We are a church with a traditional (9:30AM) and contemporary service (11AM), with the contemporary service typically ending around noon. Music is an integral part of both of our services and our goal on the music and worship team is to create and lead worship experiences that inspire and engage our congregation.

- You enjoy the leading and mentorship of instrumentalists and vocalists
- You lean towards a more collaborative style of leadership and are able to work with the director of music and pastor to plan and lead meaningful worship experiences
- Someone that has a knowledge of various worship styles and has the ability to craft and build a worship experience that aligns with the church’s vision and congregational needs
- You have experience with or knowledge of the use of stems/tracks to augment instrumentation
You’re great at…
- Planning and logics, with an attention to detail
- Leading and facilitating worship services, including selection of songs, preparing music, and leading the congregation
- Mentoring instrumentalists and vocalists
- Understanding the role of music and praise in a traditional and Contemporary Worship setting with the ability to craft and build a worship experience that aligns with the church’s vision and congressional needs
Your qualifications…
- You have a deep faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (Music degree preferred)
- Prior music leadership experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in vocally leading worship (ability to also play a lead instrument, such as guitar or piano, preferred)
