Job Description
Provide advice and guidance to the Chief Compliance Officer, senior management, and business lines regarding all non-AML/BSA laws and regulations. Manage Bank examinations, including interacting with the Bank’s regulators regarding any pending matters or examinations.
Job Description:
- Responsible for reviewing and updating non-AML/BSA/OFAC policies for the Bank, such as those related to deposit and Lending Laws and Regulations.
- Assist with General Compliance, UDAAP and Fair Lending Risk Assessments including UDAAP and Fair Lending.
- Monitor all the alphabet soup of Consumer Compliance Regulations as it applies to the Banks including: Regulations B, Z, C, DD, E, CRA, CC, UDAAP, RESPA and Fair Lending.
- Manage the Banks Complaint Program.
- Review and approve Marketing Materials and Disclosures.
- Review and assist with Third Party Vendor onboarding and annual assessments.
- Assist Compliance and the business units in assessing new or changed laws and regulatory requirements to determine the impact on policies, procedures, and reporting systems, and provide training on such changes.
- Act on behalf of the Compliance Department in relevant meetings.
- Work with business units to identify and interpret any issues arising from the introduction of new or existing products and/or services.
- Provide periodic compliance updates to Senior Management and Committees of the Board.
- Maintain a current knowledge of market place Compliance and Compliance best practices and recommend changes to existing Bank policy, as necessary.

Qualifications
- 7-10 years’ experience of increasing responsibility working for either a regulatory agency examining banks or in a bank within the Compliance or Legal Departments providing advice and/or guidance on banking regulations and laws.
- A law degree is desired but not required, as is prior employment by a banking regulator.
- Ability to work with and independently from Chief Compliance Officer.
- Demonstrated ability to actively and effectively interact with the Bank’s regulators, business lines, and other areas of the Bank
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Experience in MS Office
Compensation
The expected annual salary for this position is between $120,000 and $170,000 at the start of employment. A salary offer is determined on an individualized basis, taking into consideration factors such as an individual’s skills and experience. In addition to base salary, our total rewards package also includes eligibility for an annual bonus, medical, pharmacy, dental, and vision plans, life and disability insurance, employee wellness program, retirement and savings plans with employer contributions, generous holiday and paid time off schedules, parental leave, and tuition reimbursement.
