Construction Warehouse/Deliveries

Salary: $15 - $20 DOE

We are a successful general contractor seeking an organized and self-motivated warehouse/delivery driver to join our Team. The warehouse position will be responsible for maintaining, organizing, storing, and packaging of supplies and equipment in the warehouse, as well as delivery of these supplies and materials to the job sites. Must be willing to work and stay out of town as needed to complete pickup and delivery assignments.

Must have a clean DMV record and possess a valid driver’s license and have experience with the use of standard tow behind trailers.  When needed, overnight lodging is provided by the company.

The Warehouse individual will load and unload materials at our warehouse, and respective job sites, as well as be responsible for their safe transportation to and from the job site locations. The ideal candidate is comfortable working on their feet, can perform heavy lifting when needed, and has some familiarity with construction job site equipment. The Team member will also operate light machinery during loading and unloading operations such as forklifts, scissor lifts, and small skid steers.

Warehouse Duties and Responsibilities

· Load, secure, and move inventory and materials across facilities in a professional and safe manner

· Process inventory for delivery

· Sort, organize, and store inventory in proper location

· Package items and label correctly

· Inspect delivered items and ensure quality

· Report damaged or missing inventory to supervisors

· Stack and organize large bulk items

· Remove inventory from trucks and deliver to proper location

· Update logs and documentation for inventory processing

· Move materials from facilities to workstations, pick-up locations, or other locations via truck

· Wear safety gear at all times

· Operate light to medium duty machinery such as forklifts, scissor lifts, small skid steers to move or store inventory across facilities

· Drive for extended periods of time while operating a full-size pick-up truck (non semi)

· Ensure workspace is free of debris and notify supervisors of safety hazards

· Work as an active team member to complete team goals

Warehouse Requirements and Qualifications

· High school degree or equivalent

· Clean DMV

· Valid driver’s license (Trailer endorsement over 10,000gvw a plus)

· Able to pass drug test/background check

· Physically able to stand, sit, move, squat, walk, and climb during the shift

· Physically able to lift 50 pounds or more

· Able to work nights and weekends if needed

· Able to work overtime hours if needed

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Able to work in a fast-paced environment

· Able to work independently

· Pays attention to detail and monitors quality of inventory and equipment

· Organized and able to store items efficiently

· Must follow all health and safety procedure and regulations as dictated by the organization and the state
