United Signs & Signals, Inc., is currently looking for a Construction Superintendent/Foreman.

Job Summary:

We are seeking for a Superintendent with at least 3-5 years minimum experience in the Highway Construction Trade and someone who is looking for a permanent and long-term career.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years supervising FDOT/CFX projects.
• Shall be able to communicate with subordinates and subcontractors as well as the Client's Engineer and site representatives
• They shall have adequate skills in understanding the plans and specifications, means and methods of construction and reporting
• CDL Class A (valid with a clean driving record)
• Must have an Electrical Background
• Traffic Signage Experience preferred
• FDOT or CFX experience preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with Company policies and procedures
• Develop a working understanding of plans, specifications, and other requirements and constraints of each project, and ensure all subordinates understand their responsibilities for executing same
• Supervise subordinates, and crew operations to ensure all are conducted to high standards that meet or exceed Project requirements and Client expectations and requirements
• Oversee maintenance, care, and inventory of all equipment, including availability of supplies and parts
• Responsible for meeting with CEI to review slurry testing and to track drill shaft installation logs for each shaft
• Ensure all training needs are met and current for all subordinates
• Perform Quality Assurance inspections of field operations and Quality Control means, methods, and reporting
• Participate in Project start-up and progress meetings
• Prepare all activity, safety, and progress reports
• Report any problems to the Project Manager for resolution
• Conduct or monitor all safety meetings and oversee site operations to ensure safe conditions prevail
