NNI Construction is looking for multiple Commercial/Retail Superintendents (Road Warriors) to join our team!!!
Traveling Superintendents play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of NNI construction projects while maintaining and promotion the company mission.
Must have a minimum of 3 years as a Superintendent for a General Contractor (responsible for the supervision of all 16 trades) on Commercial/Retail projects is required.
The Superintendent shall be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Adhering to the project schedule as set-forth by NNI and the Project Manager.
- Daily coordination of all sub-contractors to ensure a smooth and evenly pace project.
- The initial resolution of disputes, poor workmanship, scheduling delays, etc.
- Adhering to the specifications provided by the Project Manager and Director or Construction.
- Providing daily reports. and daily progress photos/videos via Procore:
- Effective and collaborative communication and coordination with the Project Manager.
- All other items that may be required to produce a high quality, on time project.
Key Expectations/Must Haves:
Team Leadership: Must have the ability to lead and manage a team of subcontractors and on-site personnel. Provide guidance, direction, and support to ensure effective collaboration and achievement of project objectives. Foster a positive and safe work environment.
Site Supervision: Must have the ability to monitor construction activities, ensuring compliance with construction plans, specifications, and regulatory requirements. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain project momentum.
Quality Control: Must have the ability to implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure that construction work meets or exceeds established standards. Conduct inspections, review workmanship, and address any deficiencies promptly. Take corrective actions to maintain project quality.
Safety Compliance: Must have the ability to promote a strong safety culture on construction sites by enforcing safety policies and procedures. Conduct safety meetings, inspections, and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards. Monitor and address safety concerns promptly to ensure a safe working environment.
Communication: Must have the ability to maintain regular and effective communication with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and project managers. Provide project updates, address concerns, and ensure clear and concise communication channels to facilitate efficient project execution.
Documentation and Reporting: Must have the ability to prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs with progress photos, highlights of milestones/progress, risks, and issues.
Problem Solving: Must have the ability to identify and address construction-related challenges and obstacles proactively. Collaborate with the project team to develop innovative solutions and strategies to overcome difficulties and maintain project progress.

NNI Construction is a privately held Company with offices in Cleveland, Ft Lauderdale and Las Vegas. We are not in the "bidding" process for 90% of our projects, but rather these are repeat clients we have done multiple jobs for. We work for multiple franchises, and we have performed over 250 jobs for one of them in the last 8 years. We already have a full schedule of projects for the remainder of 2024 and we are currently booking jobs for 2025.
