This position falls under our homebuilding business. We are looking for a New home construction Project Manager with experience in estimating and field management. We are seeking someone who is particularly strong in subcontractor recruitment and management. You will be supervising the construction of several single-family homes in the Marble Falls area, ensuring that our quality, schedule and cost standards are met along the way.
Responsibilities for Construction Project Manager
- Recruit trades and subcontractors as required
- Recruit and manage vendors
- Manage project budgets
- Provide direction over contracts and subcontracts
- Manage construction schedule and activities
- Issue progress updates as needed regarding costs and timelines
- Ensure work is done in compliance with all relevant building and safety codes
- Select and manage subcontractor and supplier relationships
- Coordinate efforts across entire project between vendors and subcontractors
Qualifications and Requirements for Construction Project Manager
- 3+ years of construction estimating experience
- 3+ years of superintendent/field manager experience in homebuilding or multifamily
- Comfortable reading and understanding blueprints and drawings
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer software
- Demonstrated knowledge of construction, engineering, and architecture principles
- Ability to budget, schedule, negotiate, and control costs
- High degree of familiarity with contract and subcontract documents, terms, and conditions
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
Location: The company is based in Austin, but the projects you will first assigned to will be in the Marble Falls area.

Our approach is to utilize steel and thermoplastics to produce housing units in an streamlined, repeatable manner with a type of panel called a Structural Insulated Panel.
The chief premise is to dramatically reduce the number of parts, pieces, and labor for each unit of housing and to allow the design, software and machinery to do the work.
