Construction Project Manager

G3 Construction, one of the leading commercial interior General Contractors serving the tri-county area of South Florida, is searching for Project Managers to serve at our location in Boca Raton.  G3 Construction is looking for individuals who are interested in growing with our company.  We are seeking to build our team with talented people who share our belief of building strong enduring relationships with both our clients and employees.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Building relationships with existing and new clients to acquire new business opportunities and track leads on upcoming projects.
• Create conceptual estimates, budgets and submit proposals.
• Develop a cost-effective plan and schedule for completion of projects, including the buy- out, submittal and permit process, as well as manage all contract administration and change events.
• Collaborate with superintendent, review daily logs, facilitate communication between all trades and clients, and correct any safety violations or other reported deficiencies.
• Track and control construction schedule and associated costs to achieve completion of projects on time and within budget.
• Reports to owners and architects any progress and necessary modifications of plans that seem indicated.
• Manages client interactions and expectations in a professional manner focusing on finding solutions.
• Generates and manages all documentation withing company software (Procore) including AIA Prime Contracts, Subcontract Agreements, Change Orders, and payment applications.
• Proactively identifies changes in project scope. and negotiate, issue and execute change orders.
• Maintain good subcontractor relationships
• Oversee close out process.

What you need:

• Minimum of five (5) years of commercial construction experience is required, including project management experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong negotiating skills
• Strong computer skills, emphasis on Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, Procore
• Dispute Resolution skills
• Financial and Job Cost Accounting Knowledge and business acumen required.
• Ability to work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities and groups of people who need to cooperate in order to meet deadlines and achieve efficiency.
