Civil Construction Project Manager - Southeastern New Mexico and West Texas areas

J & H Services, Inc. is a family-owned, Heavy Civil Construction Company, doing work in Southeast New Mexico and West Texas for over 20 years. We are seeking a Civil Construction Project Manager to join our team! You will oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation of various civil Construction Projects.

Our corporate office is located in Albuquerque, NM. However, jobs are located throughout Southeast New Mexico and West Texas. Your home base is less important than your ability to travel to multiple project locations.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Oversee all aspects of the Construction Project, from planning to implementation
• Allocate resources for assigned projects
• Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
• Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
• Assist in developing and updating project schedules to ensure compliance with job planning and budget
• Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
• Oversee project team to ensure compliance with Safety startup, program development, implementation, and management
• Maintain Project Logs

Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience in Construction Management, Heavy Civil Construction, or similar
• Willingness and ability to travel
• Valid driver's license with insurable record
• Familiarity with construction management software
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Teams, etc.)
• Strong leadership qualities
• Strong negotiation skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Physical ability to stand for long periods of time, lift up to 50 pounds, traverse civil construction job sites
