The Opportunity – Construction Project Coordinator
The Construction Project Coordinator position at Kasper Electric is an opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our team. As a Project Coordinator, you will support our Construction and Residential leadership team by organizing, communicating, and developing project activities. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that projects follow our best practices from bid to completion. You will work closely with various stakeholders, including our construction and residential division, accounting, human resources, contractors, vendors, and multiple municipalities.
Qualifications for the Construction Project Coordinator:
- Enjoy working in a diverse and results-oriented team environment
- Possess general knowledge of construction processes, including NOC, COR, Schedule of Values, RFI's, and submittals
- Coordinate Purchase Orders (PO), package releases, and various job site orders
- Familiarity with Municipality protocol for permitting and inspections
- Understanding of construction scheduling, billing, documenting, and reporting
- Ability to process close out documents such as builder's notice, warranty letter, O & M's, and certificates
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365
- Strong administrative skills, including email follow-up, call returns, and calendar management
Responsibilities for the Construction Project Coordinator:
- Organize and communicate project activities for the Construction and Residential leadership team
- Coordinate with various stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
- Assist in adhering to best practices and ensuring projects are completed efficiently
- Support the constructional/residential division, accounting, human resources, contractors, vendors, and multiple municipalities
- Process close out documents and maintain accurate records
- Perform administrative tasks, such as email follow-up, call returns, and calendar management
Preferred Qualifications for the Construction Project Coordinator:
- Extensive experience and expertise in project coordination and organization
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Ability to bring innovative solutions to light
- Strong sense of urgency and follow-up
