Construction Project Advisor (Secret Clearance Required)

One Federal Solution (OFS) is seeking a Project Advisor-I to join our team in Washington, D.C. As the Project Advisor-I, you will provide architectural-related engineering consultation, coordination support, and advisory for the renovation of buildings. Specific tasks include the overall project coordination and, as follows:

Tasks & Duties:

• Analyze and evaluate the management, coordination, and monitoring of projects to facilitate the acquisition process.
• Planning, evaluating, and maintaining technical surveillance over operations required to support the program goals and objectives of assigned actions.
• Communicating, both verbally and in writing, to provide guidance and instruction related to facilitating the acquisition process (i.e., justifying, negotiating, and resolving controversial issues and problems).
• Assists in financial management, program development, housing and space planning, design, and cost estimating.
• Construction oversight, inspection, scheduling, relocation, technical reviews, presentations, and progress meetings
• Post occupancy, commissioning, written documentation, architectural, engineering consultation

Requirements & Qualifications:

• PMP certification is required at start date or must be obtained within 12 months of hiring and kept up to date.
• Minimum of three (3) years of specialized experience listed above required.
• Analyzing and evaluating the management, coordination, and monitoring of projects in order to facilitate the acquisition process.
• Planning, evaluating, and maintaining technical surveillance over operations required to support the program goals and objectives of assigned actions.
• Communicating, both verbally and in writing, to provide guidance and instruction related to facilitating the acquisition process (i.e., justifying, negotiating, and resolving controversial issues and problems).
• Examples of software they may have are: Primavera (P6) or MS Project in a construction or design capacity or Schedule Logic. It's ok if they don't have one of these though - these are examples
• Break down schedules and an understanding of dependents in construction - eg, can't paint the walls until the sheet rock goes up
• Need 3 yrs of construction or designing buildings (new construction, demolitions, renovations) experience, don't need 3 yrs of scheduling experience
• Must have at least 3+ years of Constuction or building design/Demolition experience required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
