Established in 2006, we specialize in Horizontal and Vertical Construction, Contingency Operations, Training, Military Munitions Response (MMR) and Environmental Services, and Global Stability Operations. We provide our quality services across the Americas, INDO-PACOM, the Middle East, Europe, Africa and Asia. RELYANT is unique in our ability to work successfully in any environment, whether it be populated, remote, austere or contingency.

With that, we are currently seeking an experienced Construction Process Manager to work Corporately for support of all construction projects globally. The Construction Process Manager is responsible for leading the development, implementation, and utilization of internal Construction Processes by collaborating with internal teams associated with execution of the construction portfolio. Position will be based out of Maryville, TN with capabilities to work remotely and travel to the Corporate Office at least quarterly.

Responsibilities

  • Review existing internal company Construction Processes.
  • Discuss existing and new Construction Processes with cross functional teams and develop a gap analysis for each existing process.
  • Develop action plans on Construction Process improvements based on gap analyses.
  • Understand composition of execution teams are & communicate with them on a regular basis regarding Construction Process implementation & improvement efforts.
  • Identify the requirement for new Construction Processes & coordinate process development effort for any new processes.
  • Document & update processes in a consolidated document
  • Effectively communicate across the organization when new Construction Processes are established.
  • Ensure construction execution teams understand the Construction Processes and coordinate training as needed.
  • Become the resident expert on internal Construction Processes.
  • Audit execution teams' utilization of the Construction Processes
  • Develop understanding of project management information systems (PMIs) used by construction execution teams and develop processes around PMIs utilization.
  • Ensure new construction projects are established in PMIs.
  • Ensure new projects are setup in the document management system.
  • Spot check construction project document management systems to ensure utilization & notify execution teams of deficiencies.
  • Develop and maintain a schedule of process development and implementation milestones.
  • Coordinate information flow on Construction Processes and coordinate process improvement on a continuous basis
  • Plans and assesses project Construction Process utilization audit results and analyses of non-conformity.
  • Visits and surveys construction sites
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in construction management or related field (required)
  • Experience in the construction field as a project coordinator or project engineer (required)
  • Experience with USACE, NAVFAC, DoD, or DoS (preferred)
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency using Excel, Word, project management and scheduling software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Use required office equipment proficiently; plan and organize work effectively; analyze problems, propose reasonable solutions, make logical decisions, carry-out decisions made, and follow-up with feedback where appropriate.
  • Superior communication skills
  • Ability to complete and prioritize tasks on multiple concurrent projects within given timeframes.
  • Sound administrative skills, well-developed management skills.
  • Problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and functional level
  • Must be able to pass a Federal Background Check
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Must be able to acquire and maintain base access (if applicable)
