We're looking for a Construction Managerto be based in the California Bay Area who is excited about working on projects supporting our clients' business and business practices. Join us and you'll have the chance to work on construction projects including roads, rapid transit, bridges, tunnels as well as industrial and commercial facilities. You'll be accountable for orchestrating a number of construction related activities on civil focused projects including roads, highways, rail, and water/wastewater. You will be expected to be able to work with clients and contractors with the knowledge of construction practices including change management, safety, quality assurance, scheduling, estimating, price negotiations, and oversight of day to day activities. By developing and delivering on project scopes, budgets, reports, contracts, and schedules, you'll help our teams achieve our client's objectives. Your keen ability to multi-task, communicate effectively and tackle project challenges will allow you to thrive in our fast-paced environment. Experience with railroad construction projects is a must and grade separation experience is a plus. Need to have railroad operational knowledge for class1 freight railroads.

- Bachelor's degree in in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline
- 10 years of proven experience in Construction Management working on transportations projects including transit tunnel projects.
- Experience with railroad grade separation project.
- Knowledge of construction including material, methods, plans and specifications; associated safety requirements.
- Perform calculations using algebra, trigonometry and geometry.
- Required to have and maintain a satisfactory driving record
Ideally, you'll also have:
- Certified Construction Manager (CCM) Certification
- Engineer in Training (EIT)
- Demonstrated knowledge of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems and general building maintenance
- Proven experience and knowledge with Transportation projects
Essential Functions:
Intermittent sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting, and lifting. Lifting requirements limited to 20 lbs. in the form of supplies, drawings, etc. Longest distance carried of 50 feet. Hand manipulation is required for simple grasping, pushing and pulling, and fine manipulation. Right and/or left hands utilized. Occasional need to reach and/or work above the shoulder, for supplies, as well as below the shoulder for same. No foot controls necessary. Must be alert to equipment in the field, there will be occasional travel, will work near construction job site equipment when in the field, occasional need to work near hazardous equipment and machinery, occasional need to walk on uneven ground, exposure to dust, gas or fumes, exposure to noise, extremes in temperature or humidity, and potential work at heights.

Typical salary range for this position is $121,800 - $190,350 and is commensurate with experience relative to the position.
