The Construction & Maintenance Tech position pays between $40,400 to $50,500. The Sr. Construction & Maintenance Tech position pays between $46,120 to $57,650. The position is based on the skills, experience, and education of the successful candidate.
The successful candidate must live within 30 minutes of the Alamogordo Gas Service Center.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

- Prepare job sites for safe operation
- Frequent work around live gas mains and services performing taps, stop-offs, or tie-ins.
- Excavate site using manual tools, excavating machinery, and shoring following all safety procedures
- Installation and maintenance of steel pipe or non-steel systems Polyethylene (PE) plastic pipe utilizing heat fusion/electrofusion.
- Perform various safety tests, including pressure tests, on gas pipelines.
- Operate and perform preventative and corrective inspections on company vehicles and equipment

We're Looking for Someone With:
- A high school diploma or GED
- 0-3 years of related experience
- A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record and the ability to obtain and maintain a New Mexico Commercial Driver's License (CDL) within one (1) year of hire through company-provided paid training.
- Preferences: Commercial Driver's License (CDL), Plumbing/Utility experience, Heavy equipment operator
