Acculevel is the premier foundation repair and waterproofing company in the Midwest. We are looking for crew members who will play a crucial role in supporting various tasks related to the repair and stabilization of foundations. Your responsibilities will include assisting the crew leader ensuring an efficient, timely and safe work environment, and contributing to the overall success of foundation repair projects.
This position comes with the potential to earn up to $500 in weekly bonuses.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist with Site Preparation:
- Clear and prepare work areas for foundation repair projects.
- Move materials, tools, and equipment to and from the job site.
2. Excavation and Trenching:
- Dig trenches and excavation areas around foundations for repair purposes.
- Ensure proper depth and dimensions according to project specifications.
3. Concrete Work:
- Mix and pour concrete to fill foundation gaps or stabilize structures.
- Assist in forming and finishing concrete surfaces as needed.
4. Material Handling:
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment.
- Transport materials within the job site using hand trucks or other equipment.
5. Support Crew Leaders:
- Assist technicians in the installation of foundation repair systems.
- Hand tools, equipment, and materials to team members as required.
6. Safety Compliance:
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure work environment.
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety procedures.
7. Clean-Up and Restoration:
- Clean up debris and waste materials from the job site.
- Restore landscaping and property features affected by the repair process.
9. Communication:
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Follow instructions and provide feedback on job progress.
10. Physical Requirements:
- Lift and carry heavy loads, bend, stoop, and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Work in various weather conditions and environments.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in construction or general labor is preferred.
- Ability to operate basic hand tools and equipment.
- Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labor tasks.
- Basic understanding of safety procedures and protocols.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
This general labor position is essential to the success of our foundation repair projects, and we are seeking motivated individuals who are dedicated to maintaining high-quality standards and ensuring the safety of themselves and their team members.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
