Construction General Laborer

Power Labor is hiring experienced and motivated commercial Construction General Laborers with experience on active commercial and industrial construction sites.

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:
Collaborate with existing employees onsite to complete all tasks. A 'jack-of-all-trades' welcome to apply!
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (other duties may be assigned)

1. Installation of various types of shelving, ductwork, framing, retail equipment, warehouse equipment, manufacturing materials, flooring, and much more
2. Utilize lifts and ladders to reach heights safely to perform duties. Must be comfortable with heights.
3. Conform to all safety regulations. OSHA Certification preferred.
4. Follow and understand instructions, such as blueprints, floor plans, wiring diagrams.
5. Complete accurate paperwork, including work orders, labor hours, warranty cards, equipment transfers, new store checklist, DOT logs, post trip vehicle inspections forms, and weekly transaction logs for procurement cards.
6. General site clean-up. Maintain a clean working environment at all times.
7. Efficiently be able to independently at an active job site or open store.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years related experience preferred
• Valid Driver's License and Reliable Transportation required

Tools & Equipment

• Hand tools (hammer, measuring devices, wrench, level, etc.)
• Power Hand tools (saws, drill press, grinders, sanders, etc.)
• Welding tools (torch, plasma cutter, welder, etc.)
• Motorized Equipment (generators, pressure washer, fork lift, etc.)
• Reclaimer, balometer

Employment Details

• Hourly rate based on experience $22 - $25, Paid Weekly!
• Hours are First Shift, Monday-Friday, OT available frequently
• Full benefit package available after 30 days, with 401K
• Driver's License and Reliable Transportation daily
  • Hired candidates will be expected to travel to multiple locations during employment
  • Locations are not always within 50 miles - per diem will be given when traveling
