Construction Laborer

Paragon Staffing, LLC is a company that specializes in connecting job seekers with employers who are seeking temporary, contract, or permanent positions.

We are looking for a Construction Laborer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the fabrication, installation, and maintenance of systems.  You will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machines, load and unload frequently heavy materials, and follow directions from supervisors.

Responsibilities/Duties

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Fabricate sheet metal components using shears, brakes, and presses.
• Layout and cut metal sheets according to measurements.
• Assemble and install sheet metal components using rivets, bolts, screws, and welding equipment.
• Install ductwork systems for air conditioning, heating, ventilation, and other applications.
• Inspect completed work for accuracy and conformance to specifications.
• Climbing ladders and walking on top of roofs(must not be afraid of heights).

• 2 years experience as a mechanic or construction
• Must be mechanically inclined. 
• Welding experience (preferred).
• Must Have the ability to use hand and power tools
• Must have construction experience
• Osha 30 or Osha 10 is preferred but not required
• Must understand and speak English

Salary: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Work setting: In the field or Indoors

Work Location: Piscataway, NJ
