Texas Based Low Voltage Construction and Service Company with over 30 years in the industry, is currently seeking qualified applicants to fill the open position of Low Voltage Construction Apprentice and General Laborers to help with installations on construction jobs in the growing Houston multi-family housing market.

Job Information:

Position will consist of learning from and assisting licensed technicians on low voltage construction jobs and will include; running wiring, moving up and down stairs and ladders, working on active construction sites, and installing equipment for fire alarm, burglar alarm, access control, CCTV, etc. Alarmtechs has jobs sites throughout the Houston area. Alarmtechs is looking to train reliable. hard-working applicants that are willing to learn the trade. Alarmtechs will provide training, learning material and pay for licensing once the applicant is ready to advance. Plenty of room for growth and advancement for those willing to work and learn.

Requirements:

Applicants should:

• Be self-motivated, organized, punctual and willing to work and learn.
• Have reliable transportation and will be able to drive themselves to and from work at the beginning and end of each day.
• Be able to use basic and power tools.
• Be willing to take direction from a supervisor, as well as be able to work with other employees.
• Be able to handle working outside in unconditioned environment.
• Be able to lift moderate to heavy objects, pull wiring and have no issue with climbing up and down ladders.

Prior experience in the low voltage field and/or pulling wiring is a plus, but not mandatory.

*All applicants need to understand that this is a construction job and will require manual labor at non-conditioned multi-family (Apartment complexes) construction sites.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
