South Eastern General Contractors is a small business in Hope Mills, NC - we've been serving the area for 20 years. We are agile, creative, and our goal is to be the most sought after General Contractor in the area.

Having ongoing contracts on Ft. Liberty and projecting more in the near future, a succesful candidate will have no felonies or other hold-ups that would restrict access to the base.

- Analyze construction plans and specifications to determine project requirements

- Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projects

- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimates

- Utilize construction estimating software to create comprehensive estimates

- Research and obtain pricing information from suppliers and subcontractors

- Evaluate project scope changes and provide updated cost estimates as needed

- Review contracts and negotiate pricing with subcontractors and suppliers

- Monitor and control project costs throughout the construction process

- Assist in the preparation of project budgets and schedules

- Provide support to project managers during the construction phase

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field or relevant work experience

- Proven experience as a Construction Estimator or similar role

- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations

- Proficiency in construction estimating software

- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills

- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in estimating costs

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,456.00 - $76,693.00 per year
