Construction Equipment Operator

Monte Vista Homes is seeking an experienced Construction Equipment Operator for various residential tract projects in the Inland Empire. We have active jobs in Fontana, Rialto, San Bernardino, San Jacinto and the surrounding areas.

Job Description

As our Construction Equipment Operator you will work with our site prep construction team to prepare residential tract developments for grading, dry utility installation, and vertical construction and landscaping. You will be responsible for daily operation of a variety of equipment including mini-X, backhoe and skip-loader.

Requisites

• Required: Minimum 3 years experience performing precise grading construction sites while operating a Skip-Loader
• Minimum 3 years experience and ability to drive and operate a mini-X, backhoe and skip-loader
• Ability to read blueprints, specifically precise grading plans
• Basic computer knowledge: Email, Smartphone, Photos
• Previous construction experience
• Read Construction Stakes

Responsibilities

• Prepare a daily status report of the job site
• Maintain a clean and safe job site
• Follow Instructions
• Solve daily job site problems or call management for further assistance
• Arrive at specified job sites on time and ready to work

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00 - $29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
