Rate of Pay: $24.25 - $29.25
Construction Draw Specialist - Lead will provide extraordinary customer service support to Borrowers, Vendors and Loan Officers on the Commercial and Residential construction loan disbursement process & related functions. Primary function will assist all processes on the Commercial side while supporting daily disbursement process and related functions on the Residential side. The Lead position will balance and support both the Commercial and Residential areas, Commercial area as the prime focus, and leading on the Residential side.
Essential Job Functions:
- Issue timely draw approvals and advances to Borrowers and Vendors
- Maintain and reconcile monthly construction loan advances (including Interest Payments, Date downs, Inspections, Draws, Holdback Account Monitoring)
- Assists in preparing initial set-up of Construction files.
- Assist Borrowers in the analysis, interpretation of budgets, advances & processes.
- Generate updated construction budgets and guidance on advance process to Borrowers.
- Communicating with third party inspector (NWCC) on budgets & issues
- Balancing various GL’s, tracking payments, reconciling inspection invoicing, etc.
- Plan Review functions (reconciling, ordering, pre-collection of funds, balancing GL, etc.)
- Prepare, create and update various departmental forms used in the Comm’l/Residential Construction Dept
- Manage closed files.
- Manage discretionary tracking.
- Operate within Jack Henry (core system), Silverlake, Built Platform & Timberland Internal Voucher system process.
- Back-up to Construction Draw Manager functions.
- Lead, Cross train, implement processes and back-up other departmental tasks.
- Other job functions as determined and delegated by supervisor.
- Active involvement in community activities.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent. 2yrs banking or related experience preferred.
- Supervisory experience
- Experience implementing new computer platforms/management systems.
- Ability to lead, support and enforce process and procedure.
- Proven commitment to EXTRAORDINARY customer service delivery.
- Ability and desire to serve providing strong, friendly, empathetic, eager-to-please serviceto both internal and external customers.
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking aptitudes with ability to assess customer needs and apply appropriate solutions.
- Experience, understanding & proficiency with computer skills including Microsoft WORD and EXCEL applications.
- Ability to multitask
