Seeking a Configuration Manager to serve as PEO-C3T Representative for managing software and hardware configurations for many Army C5ISR Tactical Networks and Radio Programs

Responsibilities:
- As the team modernizes you have the ability provide insights as you support their transition from an Excel based repository to a tool designed for Configuration Management (CM) of systems the ideal candidate will accomplish the following:
- Product problem knowledge capture, tracking, Verification and Validation, and resolution.
- Prepare, coordinate and lead Engineering Review Boards (ERBs) and Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) within Product Manager Handheld, Manpack, and Small Form Fit (HMS) and participate in PM Tactical Radios ERBs/CCBs, when required.
- Communicate configuration management and software program management issues/risks/topics across multiple PMs, PEO, and executive level.
- Interfaces with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Serve as a configuration expert for specific battle-ready tactical components and Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) configurations.
- Participate in the systems engineering Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and other technical forums at the PEO and subordinate agency level by providing software system engineering input for HW, SW, and data products.
- Review Quality Assurance documents and Contract Data Requirements Lists; e.g., Configuration Management Plans, Software Version Descriptions, Engineering Change Proposals, Change requests (i.e., Notice of Revisions), Configuration Problem Reports, and Configuration Status and Audit Reports.
- Provide support for the transformation of the Army and the fielding of digitized information infrastructures to the active and reserve components, including analysis of user requirements, preparation of plans and associated documentation, conducting test and demonstration events, multi-organization coordination, performing risk assessments, executing similar activities relevant to systems engineering and integration
Qualifications:
- Associates Degree or two (2)-year technical school (computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or relates scientific or technical discipline). Three (3) additional years of relevant experience or military experience substituted for education.
- A minimum of three (3) years in software and coding.
- Must be organized, process and detailed oriented.
- Familiarity with Defense Intelligence Information Enterprise (DI2E); JIRA, Confluence, and/or other CM tools.
- Familiarity with SATCOM, SINGARS, MUOS, and TSM Waveforms preferred.
- Must have an innate capability for tracking complex technical configurations.
- Software focused configuration management.
- Must be comfortable managing Hardware versions, Software versions, bios, patches, networking devices, and understand how to properly control, track and manage versions.
- Strong written and oral communications skills.
- Knowledge of how to run IPT's, significant experience with MS Office suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
- Attend meetings & provide Executive Summaries (ESXUMs) to community on behalf of PM CM lead & CM team.
- Familiarity with relationships with ATEC, AEC, ACM, EPG and other stakeholders
- Act as a self-starter in a relatively unstructured work environment.
- Demonstrated ability to produce technical documents and exercise critical reasoning and problem solving.
Desired:
- Experience working in a PM's office at O-5 and/or O-6 levels.
- Experience with FBAE/FBRR (and sandbox events), LBRR, DT/OT test plans, reporting requirements.
- Experience coordinating resources with Technical Management Division, reviewing CM related CDRLs.
- Experience coordinating with Readiness Management Division for testing (facilities, hardware, etc.).
