SUMMARY OF POSITION
Kinsley Materials is seeking a Concrete Plant Operator to join our growing team. The Concrete Plant Operator will be based in Carlisle, PA, and is responsible for the plant’s production of concrete, loading delivery trucks, and communicating direction from dispatch. The Concrete Plant Operator is also responsible for informing dispatch of plant breakdowns and informing the Plant Manager of maintenance concerns. TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Prepare the plant each day to produce concrete at peak capacity.
- Maintain the plant as per manufacturer’s recommendations.
- Report any needed repair and fix if possible.
- Report any material changes to quality control.
- Maintain clear communications with dispatch and quality control.
- Load trucks and relay delivery information/directions from dispatch.
- Other related duties and responsibilities as required.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Must wear appropriate PPE; long pants and shirt with minimum 3” sleeve.
- Must be able to bend, kneel and climb both ladders and stairs.
- Must be able to work from heights more than 30 feet from the ground.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required.
- Must have reliable transportation to arrive at the plant on time.
