We take pride in our commitment to excellence, safety, and client satisfaction. As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Concrete and Excavation Foreman to join our dynamic team.
Position Overview:
As the Concrete and Excavation Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of concrete and excavation projects. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and timely completion of projects while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities:
Project Management:
Lead and coordinate all concrete and excavation activities on construction sites.
Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
Ensure adherence to project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Team Leadership:
Supervise and mentor a team of concrete and excavation personnel.
Delegate tasks and responsibilities to crew members based on their skills and expertise.
Conduct regular team meetings to communicate project goals, expectations, and safety protocols.
Concrete Work:
Oversee the placement and finishing of concrete, ensuring it meets design specifications.
Coordinate with concrete suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality of materials.
Troubleshoot and address any issues related to concrete work.
Excavation:
Manage excavation activities, including earthmoving, trenching, and grading.
Ensure proper soil compaction and foundation preparation.
Collaborate with engineers to interpret excavation plans and blueprints.
Quality Control:
Conduct regular inspections to ensure work meets quality standards.
Implement corrective actions as necessary to address any deviations from project requirements.
Maintain accurate records of project progress and quality control measures.
Safety Compliance:
Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
Conduct regular safety meetings and provide ongoing safety training to crew members.
Investigate and report any accidents or near misses promptly.
Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Concrete and Excavation Foreman in the construction industry.
• In-depth knowledge of concrete placement, finishing techniques, and excavation processes.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and best practices.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficient in the use of construction equipment and tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
