Position Description:
We are seeking a highly-motivated, mechanically inclined Compressor Technician with a growth mindset who enjoys a dynamic, hands on, field-based work environment. Responsible for daily operation and maintenance of compressors, glycol dehydration units, B-Tex unit, incinerator, transfer pumps, "control air" air compressors and all equipment associated with compressor facility.
- Responsible for maintaining glycol, oil, chemical and coolant stock for continuous operation of equipment.
- Perform valve troubleshooting when needed and record documentation when problems are suspected.
- Monitor Glycol ph, Glycol pumps flow rate and pressures.
- Answer callouts on compressor facility as needed for troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Communicate and collaborate with vendors to obtain the latest revisions and recommendations for compressor facility equipment.
- Assist in planning, conducting, and evaluating approaches to meeting the project objectives in a timely fashion for repair requests.
Requirements:
- Experience in oil and gas (required).
- Experience with field compressor and pumping units.
- Experience with RTUs and XsPOC or similar program platforms.
- Electro-mechanical background with experience following safe practices in regard to oil field electrical installations.
- 8 years related experience and a High School diploma or equivalent.
