Comprehensive Medication Management (Cmm) - Pharmacy Intern

• JOB SUMMARY
  • Under the supervision of a Pharmacist, the Comprehensive Medication Management (CMM) Intern acts as an extension of the ambulatory pharmacy team to support patient access to the St. Luke’s CMM Program. This position requires someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, personable, and able to adapt to a dynamic environment. The primary function of the CMM intern is outreach to patients to schedule CMM pharmacist visits. Additional clinical roles will be assigned on an as needed basis. These efforts will promote optimal clinical care, medication safety, and medication adherence for our patients.

  • Education: Currently enrolled in a Pharmacy program.

  • Licensure/Certification/Registration: Minnesota Technician or Intern registration prior to hire.

  • Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication skills, including exceptional listening and communication skills. Problem solving, critical-thinking, professional written and oral communication, and interpersonal skills are necessary. Ability to actively listen and engage in communications to ensure understanding of requests/needs of patients and clinical staff. Ability to follow written and oral instructions with accuracy and dependability. Must be organized and detail oriented. Ability to distinguish routine functions from those that require professional judgment. Ability to use phone, computer and related technology. No history of drug addiction or misuses.
