Job description
The Individual at this role will have the opportunity to work on the intricate and complex issues impacting delivery for best-in-class Apple devices. Specific duties include but are not limited to: •Support project teams across Commodities as the Resident Component Expert •Support new Product Introduction by developing cost model, lead time, qualification, roadmap, alternate component suggestions, and follow up with vendors. •Locate and qualify new potential component suppliers. •Review and evaluate component PCNs and FA reports, evaluating issues and risk to the project. •Be responsible for coordinating and tracking all component root cause failure analysis and implementing corrective action. •Document and release all component specifications. •Commodity research, including identifying supply chain opportunities and tracking supplier roadmaps.
