We are seeking a talented Compliance Officerto join our team and work on Governance and Framework Projects with a Corporate and Investment Bank based in NYC.
Reporting to the Head of Transversal Compliance, the Compliance Officer - Governance and Framework is responsible for the design and implementation of the CIB US Compliance Governance Framework, maintaining charter updates and managing the process of Compliance operating and management Committees including the production and maintenance of reporting materials and analysis for various Committees. This role will require coordination and proactive outreach to various groups and divisions within CIB and the Combined U.S. Operations entity.

Role and responsibilities:
- Secretary of the Committees managed by the CIB's US Compliance
- Compliance Management Committee
- Complex and Sensitive Transaction Committee
- New Activity Product Committee
- Manage the New Activity Product (NAP) process.
- Manage the Complex and Sensitive Transaction (CST) process.
- Serve as the main point of contact for CST and NAP-related inquiries in the US.
- Update annually the Compliance Framework document and Governance owned Policies and Procedures, including related Training materials.
- Assist with the management of strategic and regulatory projects.
- Manage follow-up actions related to Committees, Issues (Internal audit, regulatory), NAP and CST
- Coordinate routine Management Information System (MIS) reporting with the Compliance Reporting Officer.
- Assist the CIB US Head of Transversal Compliance with the implementation of existing and new initiatives
This role will require coordination and proactive outreach to various groups and divisions within CIB and the Combined U.S. Operations entity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree
- 5+ years of relevant experience
The salary range for this role is US$70,000 - US$130,000
