Job Summary:
The Staff Services Manager I (SSM I) directs the work of the Compliance and Special Project Unit within HR. The SSM I oversees the development of departmental personnel policies, procedures, projects, and forms. This position requires a thorough and detailed knowledge of customer service and HR rules and regulations. The SSM I collaborates with peers and professional staff to ensure uniform and compliant HR policies and procedures. The incumbent is expected to exercise good judgment, communicate effectively, and always portray a professional and positive demeanor.

Working Conditions
  • This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule which includes up to two days of remote work per week. Additional in office days may be required based on the business need.
  • Conflict of Interest - This position is designated under the Conflict of Interest Code and is required to complete Form 700 within 30 days of appointment. Failure to comply with the Conflict of Interest Code requirements may void the appointment.
