Title: Compliance/BSA Assistant
Type: Entry level full-time position

Job summary: The Compliance/BSA Assistant is responsible for performing regulatory compliance duties and quality control duties under the direct supervision of the Compliance Officer, to assist in maintaining a strong compliance management program and to ensure that all banking rules, regulations, and requirements are met.
Skills and Qualifications:
· Minimum of two years of banking experience preferred.
· Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate professionally and effectively with all levels of management.
· Must be organized, self-motivated, detail-oriented and have working knowledge of applicable bank software, programs, policies, and procedures.
· Proficient with computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
· Must demonstrate the ability to learn quickly and respond to changes in business and compliance/regulatory requirements.
Specific Duties:
· Comply with all federal, state, and local regulatory rules and regulations governing financial institutions, as well as all company policies and procedures.
· Complete and pass all required regulatory compliance training as assigned.
· Review deposit accounts for accuracy and compliance with CIP and other regulatory and statutory requirements.
· Review deposit holds.
· Review wire transfers.
· Assist in the review of loan documentation for accuracy and compliance with CIP and other regulatory and statutory requirements.
· Assist in managing the bank’s Overdraft Privilege Program.
· Assist in managing the bank’s deposit and loan exceptions.
· Review the New Accounts Report daily.
· Review the Core Maintenance Report daily.
· Order real estate appraisals, evaluations, and validity reviews and communicate with real estate appraisers.
· Perform any other task assigned by the Compliance Officer.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
