Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual with excellent written and verbal English skills to join our dynamic team as a Competitive Intelligence (CI) Analyst.
The preferred candidate will have an exceptional research skills, resilient time and project management skills, strong communication skills, analytical mindset, and the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret competitive information to provide strategic insights.
As a CI Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting decision-making processes by delivering actionable intelligence on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
Healthcare/Life Sciences, Biotech/Pharma, and/or research, consulting, analysis, and CI/market research in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
Role & Responsibilities:
- · Support and collaborate with delivery/managers with research, writing, report editing, analysis, project planning, source generation, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and the deliverable is produced at a high quality.
- · Monitor news and conduct secondary research on a daily basis.
- · Gather, analyze, and synthesize information about the healthcare markets, focusing on both existing and emerging competitive landscapes.
- · Act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance on competitive landscape and market trends.
- · Develop concise, audience-appropriate, actionable communications characterized by their strategic insight.
- · Develop and maintain a network of information sources, including internal teams, partners, customers, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and industry experts.
- · Develop up-to-date tools (product analyses, competitive responses, AI, internal and external presentations, etc.), with a view toward improving effectiveness.
- · Obtain new market trends/advances in a variety of industries and therapeutic indications/disease orders such as rare diseases, oncology, immuno-oncology, hematology, neuroscience, cardiovascular, renal & metabolic diseases, women’s health, inflammatory bowel disease, respiratory disease, and others.
- · Support new product launch (Pharma Vision & Med Advisory technological platforms).
Qualifications:
- Be highly proficient in English (written & verbal).
- Must have good communication and project/time management skills.
- Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and analytical.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a cross-functional team and multiple projects simultaneously.
- A willingness to show initiative and take ownership of job responsibilities.
- Ability to understand and draw conclusions from analyst earnings calls, clinical trials, and product development pipelines.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PPT) and visualization tools.
- Healthcare/Life Sciences, Biotech/Pharma, and/or research, consulting, analysis, and Competitive Intelligence/market research in the industry is preferred.
- Experience in one or more therapeutic areas is preferred: oncology, cell gene therapy, neurology, women’s health, cardiovascular/metabolic, etc. is a plus.
- An aptitude for logical analysis, problem identification, and problem solving as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required.
