This position is responsible for: supporting the successful use of human resource related information and systems specifically for compensation while serving as an internal consultant to Nemours. Identifying opportunities to improve compensation related processes. The Specialist will use this knowledge of HR systems and policies to train and educate staff on compensation procedures.
Essential Functions:
- Accurately key data changes in HR database systems
- Processes updates to HR systems in a timely manner
- Provide guidance on the use of compensation related tools and forms.
- Collaborate with internal and external customers on system related topics.
- Perform system audits to maintain data integrity.
- Audit compensation interface and changes
- Assist in maintain job description archive system
- Responsible for the successful administration of the merit salary administration
- Process daily personnel action and data changes in a timely manner
- Participates in system testing as needed
- Collaborate with Payroll, Finance and IS on process flow, position creation, grades and job details.
- Develop form and document processes to enhance HCM functionality
- Research and resolve system related issues
- Participate in system testing patches and upgrades as needed
- Manager ticketing system assignments
- Assist in completion of salary surveys
Job Requirements:
- High School diploma required. Associate's degree preferred.
- Healthcare experience specific to compensation preferred
- 1-3 years of job related experience required.
- Excel knowledge
- Critical thinking skills
- Oracle experience preferred
- HRIS system experience preferred
- Compensation experience preferred
- Familiarity with salary surveys
