SUMMARY
Responsible for evaluating client compensation programs, leading market pricing and benchmarking analyses, designing and implementing new compensation programs/salary structures. Builds dynamic, complex financial modeling tools, prepares client reports, and assists with training and developing junior staff. Performs all duties in accordance with all company policies and procedures, and all federal, state and local laws, wherein the Company operates.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversees a portfolio of clients and unique engagements.
- Creates and maintains working relationship and accountability to the client.
- Responsible for creating, tracking, and maintaining project plan, including working with team to ensure project deliverables are clear and deadlines are met.
- Conducts research, analyzes, and manages extensive quantitative data to solve problems and influence clients.
- Analyzes root causes, pinpoints problems, and proposes fact-based and cost-effective solutions.
- Creates leads for meaningful business development opportunities for the team.
- Develops effective models for financial modeling as well as templates that will streamline use for the team such as market pricing, data intake, and systems to utilize and maintain organization.
- Casts vision for creation of meaningful, high-quality reports detailing the firm’s analysis of a client’s challenges and opportunities utilizing PowerPoint and formatted tables derived from data within Excel, with direction from senior team members.
- Responsible for quality assurance for all client deliverables, including but not limited to client presentations, excel models, market pricings, etc.
- Comply with agency management system data standards and data integrity (enters and maintains complete and accurate information).
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Business Administration or similar discipline with analytics, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Three (3) or more years of progressive internal compensation experience preferred
Two (2) or more years of progressive compensation consulting experience with an established firm preferred
One (1) or more year of experience leading and training teams and managing a portfolio of clients preferred
Compensation experience with high growth companies, start-ups and incentive compensation preferred
CCP or other relevant certifications preferred
SKILLS
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (reference and lookup functions, presentation/formatting, logic functions, pivot tables, raw data manipulation, etc.) and other Microsoft Office applications such as PowerPoint and Word
Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills
Highly analytical, detail oriented, critical thinker who can tell a story using data
Demonstrated experience meeting tight deadlines, prioritizing tasks, high level of accuracy, and working independently to achieve effective results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
