Salary Range:
$107,100.00 - $178,700.00
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a key member of the Global Compensation team, this role will be involved in the design and delivery of compensation solutions that will enable AVEVA, RIB and ETAP compete, retain and engage talent.
Provides Compensation support and expertise to AVEVA's functional, regional and local stakeholders in the Americas region. Manages, implements and administers compensation related processes that cover from base pay administration to short- and long-term incentives.
Performs job analysis and evaluations, assesses market trends and reviews pay equity practices to ensure AVEVA's competitiveness in the industry. Regularly review and make recommendations to optimize existing programs. Has an active role in the administration of salary survey data and platforms.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Works with the Compensation Director and Compensation team to ensure timely and efficient management of all compensation programs whilst actively seeking out new opportunities to enhance our employee compensation initiatives to make AVEVA an employer of choice.
  • Provides subject matter expertise, research and analysis with a high level of internal consulting and support to Human Resources and management on a variety of compensation issues related to the allocated location.
  • Ensures alignment of regional compensation programs with AVEVA compensation philosophy, financial goals and compliance with government regulations and in-country statutory bodies, to measure the effectiveness of programs and policies.
  • Acts as a key member of the Americas People Leadership Team (PLT). Takes an active role in socializing compensation initiatives, gaining support and participating in regional projects related to the People Team.
  • May participate in the assessment, negotiation and completion of salary surveys and/or implementation of compensation platforms.
  • Enables the company to achieve its ESG goals including supporting the analysis and identification of pay equity issues; putting in place solutions to close pay gaps; and enabling the hiring and retention of diverse talent.
  • Supports OneSoftware efforts, including job analysis, job and bonus harmonization and partnering with the People Technology team, defines and implements clear job architecture.
  • Supports the delivery of all cyclical programs, including the Annual Talent & Compensation Review (ATCR), promotion, recognition programs and long-term incentives.
  • Provides education and guidance on compensation issues which allow management to effectively attract, retain and reward their employees in line with the AVEVA pay-for-performance philosophy.

IMPORTANT WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
  • The role reports to the Global Compensation Director. Close working relationships with the compensation team, the wider Talent & Reward team and Global People Team, particularly Regional & Functional People Partners, is essential to provide a consistent and joined up approach to all Reward activities.
  • It is important that the Compensation Consultant is comfortable interacting with employees of all levels and positions throughout the company. As a multi-national company, the incumbent requires sensitivity to other perspectives and cultures.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and EXPERIENCE
  • 7+ years of relevant work experience in Compensation with at least 5 years managing, influencing stakeholders and administering compensation programs.
  • Experience leading compensation efforts in a regional or global roles to include North America and LATAM.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently within region and take initiative while also being an effective team member.
  • Ability to proactively identify complex problems and needs and develop solutions to resolve them
  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships; interface and influence effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
  • Strong consulting, verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
