Job Title: Benefits and Compensation Manager

Department: Human Resources

Reports to: Chief People Officer

Position Summary

The Benefits and Compensation Manager will be responsible for planning, creating and overseeing the organization’s remuneration framework inclusive of pay, benefits, incentives, leave management, welfare benefits, and retirement plans.

The Benefits and Compensation Manager will typically engage with senior management from all departments to advise and coach on the setup, delivery, and support of employee pay and benefits. The ideal candidate will be comfortable owning and developing plans and deliverables that require strategic thinking and strong collaborative skills to deliver an exceptional employee experience.  

The Benefits and Compensation Manager tasks will include:

•                     Benchmarking current compensation and benefits policies and offerings to ensure competitiveness

•                     Evaluating and modifying existing compensation plans, benefits plans, and well-being programs

•                     Delivering business case and reporting on key metrics in support of organization’s compensation and benefits offerings to senior leaders

•                     Communicating with third-party services to negotiate benefit plans and resolve benefit related issues

•                     Leading and managing implementation of compensation and benefits programs globally

•                     Managing the monthly claims reconciliation process and follow up with vendors

•                     Managing the annual salary review process

•                     Ensuring all programs, policies and procedures comply with current legislation

•                     Developing reward strategy.

•                     Implementing and overseeing rewards

•                     Advising senior managers on compensation plans & issues

•                     Planning & managing the annual open enrollment process & experience

•                     Managing Total Well-Being Program

 

 

Required Qualifications & Experience

·         Bachelor’s degree in HR, Accounting, Finance, or Payroll

·         At least five to ten years’ experience in an HR managerial position

·         Expert knowledge of common HRIS (ADP) functionality specific to benefits and compensation

·         Expert knowledge of accounting

·         Strategic planning expertise

·         Conflict resolution and change management skills

·         Strong grasp of project management

·         Collaborative and people -centric mindset

·         Proficiency in MS Suite

·         Relevant certifications, such as CEBS or SHRM (preferred)

 

Supervisory Responsibility

This position is responsible for managing a benefits specialist.

 

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in an office setting.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Standard days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00AM to 5:00 PM.
