Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and support to hospice patients in their homes or assisted living facilities
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate medical personnel
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including using proper lifting techniques for heavy lifting
- Ensure the safety and well-being of patients at all times
- Maintain a clean and organized environment for patients
- Respect and uphold the rights of residents, including privacy and dignity
- Drive patients to medical appointments or other necessary outings

Experience:
- Previous experience in senior care or hospice care is preferred but not required
- Ability to lift and assist with heavy lifting as needed
- Knowledge of direct support principles and practices
- Familiarity with patient care procedures and protocols
