The Town of Jackson is accepting applications for the full-time position of Community Service Officer – Patrol in the Police Department. The hiring range for this position is $54,768 - $61,912.
Persons in this position are responsible for parking enforcement, animal control, special events, code compliance and enforcement, investigating minor crime/incidents, service oriented calls for assistance, and data entry/related office work including evidence handling.
We are looking for a value-centered, team-oriented person looking for a career in law enforcement to join our organization. Community Service Officer is an entry level position that provides an opportunity to work and train in a law enforcement agency with the potential to test and obtain Sworn Peace Officer status as part of the career path. Sworn Peace Officer status preferred with increased hourly wage for sworn officer duties, but not a requirement.
Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge is qualifying. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to: High School graduation or equivalent, and a valid Wyoming Drivers License.

Additional $400/month for complete Spanish fluency.
