GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Job Summary: The Community Service Housing Assistant (Part-time) under the direction and supervision of the VP of Community Services, is responsible for providing general clerical assistance to the housing assistance component of the Community Service Program. The program serves offenders, former offenders, their family members, and at-risk homeless individuals.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge:
- Community resources and United Way partnerships
- Strong customer service skills
- Data Entry Systems
- Re-entry services, housing, and employment
Skills In:
- Computer (minimum of Word, Excel)
- Communication (excellent oral, electronic, written, and presentations)
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma
- One-year clerical job related experience
- Data Entry
- The minimum educational requirement may be waived in lieu of additional experience at the discretion of the hiring official
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATION
- Valid Driver’s License
- Proof of Auto Liability Insurance if required
- Proof of education and credentials will be required for employment.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 – 28 per week
