Community Manager

As a Community Manager at BPM Music, you will be an integral part of our dynamic team, dedicated to fostering a vibrant community around all of our music platforms. You will play a key role in connecting with our diverse user base, ensuring a positive experience, and driving engagement within the music community.

Responsibilities

1. Community Engagement:

Develop and implement strategies to increase engagement among DJs, music
producers, and music enthusiasts. Foster a sense of camaraderie and collaboration within the BPM Music community. Monitor and actively participate in discussions, sharing insights, and addressing inquiries.

2. Content Creation and Curation:
Create compelling content related to music trends, DJ techniques, and BPM Music updates. Collaborate with renowned DJs and influencers to enhance the community's content experience. Ensure that content aligns with BPM Music's commitment to providing high-quality music resources.

3. Moderation:
Moderate discussions on BPM Music forums, social media channels, and other
platforms. Uphold community guidelines, ensuring a respectful and inclusive environment. Resolve conflicts diplomatically and maintain a positive online atmosphere.

4. Community Growth:
Develop strategies to attract new DJs, artists, and music enthusiasts to the BPM Music community. Collaborate with the marketing team to promote community-driven initiatives and features. Identify and pursue partnerships or collaborations to expand the reach of our music community.

5. Feedback Collection and Analysis:
Gather valuable feedback from community members, analyzing trends and preferences. Provide actionable insights to internal teams for product and service improvements. Implement community-driven enhancements to continuously elevate the BPM Music experience.

6. Events and Initiatives:
Plan and execute exciting virtual and live events, tailored to the preferences of our community. Coordinate special initiatives or campaigns to drive participation and excitement. Evaluate the success of events through metrics and community feedback.

7. Communication:
Effectively communicate updates, feature releases, and relevant information to the BPM Music community. Act as a liaison between the community and internal teams, ensuring transparency and responsiveness. Address community concerns promptly, demonstrating a commitment to customer satisfaction.

8. Reporting:
Prepare regular reports on community growth, engagement metrics, and user feedback. • Utilize data-driven insights to refine community strategies and enhance user satisfaction.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Community Manager, preferably within the music or entertainment industry.
  • Strong passion for music, familiarity with DJ culture, and an understanding of BPM Music's platforms.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and community management tools.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to derive actionable insights from data.
  • Creative thinking and a genuine enthusiasm for building and nurturing communities.

Salary

  • $63,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Work Schedule (Pacific Time)

  • 9AM - 6PM (M-Th), 8AM - 5PM (F)

Hiring Process

If you are selected, you will be contacted for an initial video interview with our VP of HR and Director of Operations.

If we decide to move forward, the next step would be a second video interview with our VP of HR Assistant, and our Marketing leads.
