We offer a diverse range of classes and workshops designed to support our members' journey towards self-improvement and community engagement. We are seeking a dynamic and organized Community Manager to join our team, someone passionate about building and nurturing community through exceptional programming and facilitation.

Role Overview:

As the Community Manager, you will be the heartbeat of our community, ensuring the smooth and effective operation of all community activities. Your primary focus will be scouting facilitators, scheduling, coordinating, and enhancing our class offerings, both in-person and virtual, to ensure they are accessible, engaging, and meet the high standards our members have come to expect. This role requires a blend of excellent organizational skills, communication prowess, and the ability to innovate and expand our offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Class Scheduling & Coordination: Oversee the scheduling of all community classes and workshops, ensuring a balanced, robust, and engaging calendar of events that caters to the diverse interests of our members.
• Facilitator Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for class facilitators, handling all communication, scheduling, and logistical support. Build strong relationships with current facilitators and provide them with the support needed to deliver high-quality experiences.
• Recruitment of New Facilitators: Proactively seek and onboard new facilitators, expanding our network of professionals who can bring fresh, innovative, and diverse content to our community.
• Virtual Class Management: Ensure all classes offer virtual access to accommodate non-local members, overseeing the technical setup and support needed to deliver a seamless hybrid experience.
• Community Engagement: Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and vibrant community atmosphere, encouraging participation and feedback from members to continually enhance our offerings.
• Membership Schedule Delivery: Ensure the delivery of our community membership schedule is robust, excellent, and aligns with our mission and values.
• Feedback & Improvement: Regularly gather feedback from members and facilitators to continually assess and improve the quality and variety of classes and workshops.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in community management, event coordination, or a related field.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building relationships with a diverse range of individuals and stakeholders.
• Experience with virtual event platforms and technology, comfortable managing and troubleshooting virtual access for classes.
• A passion for community building, personal development, and wellness.
• Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends when necessary, to support class schedules and community events.
• Located in or willing to relocate to Austin, TX, with the ability to work both onsite and remotely.

Compensation:

$25/hr

20 hours a week (to start)
