Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in the multi-family housing industry
- Demonstrate a professional, courteous attitude and appearance at all times
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Be well organized and have excellent time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Experience with property management software (Yardi and CRM)
- Proven ability to effectively lead a team to succeed and meet performance goals
- Ability to demonstrate conflict management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to learn, follow and enforce the company’s policies and procedures
Expectations
- Manage the day-to-day operations and leasing functions of the property to ensure resident satisfaction
- Implement creative & effective marketing campaigns and sales and closing techniques
- Oversee the leasing team to ensure that goals for occupancy are achieved
- Oversee the collection of rent, delinquency and the eviction process
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with our residents
- Address resident complaints in a timely manner ensuring resolution and continued resident satisfaction
- Work closely with the service team to ensure the cleanliness of the community, service requests are completed timely and unit turns are completed on schedule
- Lead and support the team in a manner that is inclusive and supports a great working environment
- Assist with formulation of budget for each upcoming calendar year.
- Comply with industry legal requirements, especially related to federal and local Fair Housing Laws
- Perform other duties as required by Vice President of Operations
